Information about SOLA Market

About

Art is your sixth sense.

SOLA Market is a second-hand, circular marketplace for artists to buy, sell, and trade art materials, gear, tools, and equipment. We are focused on making art production more accessible, equitable, and sustainable.

Based in NYC, SOLA Market was founded by Oluwakemi Oritsejafor in 2022. Along the way we aspire to make more ideas tangible through education and community with thoughtful programming, events, and collaborations.

SOLA Market in partnership with World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Brooklyn brings earthside MYCO!

MYCO is NYC’s newest collective gathering ground for climate leaders, and the professionals, artists, and activists seeking to nurture their commitment to combating the climate crisis through intersectionality with global movements.

Join our network of climate and environmental justice leaders, professionals, activists, and artists for THREE days of impact-building, art-making, and restoration:

MYCOgrow--MYCOmake--MYCOrest

Exploring the climate and environmental justice movement and its intersections with racial, gender, and queer liberation, this event features:

  • Panel discussions
  • Networking sessions
  • Sustainable art market
  • Professional and art-making workshops
  • Meditation, conversation, and play
